Less Is More

Filler as precision tool

Dermal filler has a poor public reputation — largely earned through the overfilled, pillow-faced results that emerged when unqualified practitioners began administering treatment with little anatomical understanding.

The reality is that dermal filler, used with precision and restraint, is one of the most transformative tools in facial aesthetics. A small amount of product, placed exactly where it's needed, in exactly the right structural plane, can restore years of volume loss with results that look entirely natural.

At Skiin, every filler treatment begins with a full facial assessment. We assess what your face needs — not what a treatment list suggests. Sometimes that means recommending less filler than a patient anticipates. Sometimes it means a completely different treatment altogether. Our job is to be honest.

The Result

The look & feel

  • Restored structure, never added bulk
  • Contours that read as your own bone
  • Softer, less tired under-eyes
  • A balanced profile — not overfilled
  • Natural movement and expression kept
  • Results that age with you, not against you

Filler should be invisible. The change reads as well-rested and well-defined, never as 'done'.

Jowls

How to get rid of jowls

Jowls are one of the most common reasons patients come to see us. They form through loss of volume in the mid to lower face, compounded by less collagen and elastin in the skin — leading to heaviness and sagging in the jowl area.

In clinic, we can carefully administer dermal fillers behind and in front of the jowls, and on the chin, to smooth out the jawline. The result is a cleaner, more defined transition between the face and neck.

Combined with collagen-boosting skin treatments, such as polynucleotides, this effectively creates the illusion of concealing the jowl — a more youthful and rejuvenated lower face, without surgery.

The Result

A Smoother Jawline

  • Jowl heaviness softened and concealed
  • A smooth, continuous jawline from chin to ear
  • Restored mid-face volume that lifts the lower face
  • Skin quality and firmness improved alongside structure
  • A more youthful lower face — no surgery, no scalpel
  • Results that read as well-rested, never 'done'

Doctor Tina's preferred approach: structural filler to smooth the jawline, paired with collagen-boosting treatment for the skin supporting it.

Treatment Areas

Where we treat

01

Cheek Enhancement

Restoring or sculpting the mid-face — the single most impactful structural treatment for overall facial rejuvenation.

02

Jawline Definition

Defining the lower face frame, reducing jowl appearance and improving the jaw-to-neck angle for a cleaner, more structured profile.

03

Chin Projection

Improving profile balance by addressing a recessive chin — often transformative for overall facial harmony with a single syringe.

04

Tear Trough / Under Eye

Treating the hollow transition between the lower lid and cheek — reducing the appearance of tiredness and dark circles.

05

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Refining the nose without surgery — correcting dorsal humps, improving symmetry and refining the tip. Doctor Eve's speciality.

06

Temple Restoration

Restoring volume in the temples, which hollow with age — improving the upper face frame and reducing the skeletal appearance of temporal wasting.

07

Nasolabial & Marionette

Softening deep folds with strategic structural support — addressing the cause rather than simply filling the line.

08

Lip Enhancement

Natural lip definition and subtle volume — always within the context of lower face balance. See our dedicated lip filler page.

Suitability

Is filler right for you?

Volume loss or hollowing — cheeks, under-eyes, temples — that reads as tiredness

A recessive chin, soft jawline or unbalanced profile

Deep nasolabial folds or marionette lines you'd like structurally softened

Filler from another clinic you'd like honestly assessed, dissolved or corrected

You're aged 18+, not pregnant or breastfeeding, with no active skin infection

Aftercare & Downtime

What happens after treatment

Swelling and mild bruising are common — usually peaking at 48 hours and settling within a week. Avoid exercise, alcohol and heat for 24 hours, and avoid pressing or massaging the treated areas. Most patients return to work the next day; under-eye treatment may need a few extra days before a big event.

Dermal filler from £300 per syringe, with your two-week review included. Results typically last 12–18 months depending on the area treated.
