Day 0
Consultation & treatment
Doctor Eve assesses your lips in the context of your whole face, applies topical anaesthetic for 15–20 minutes, then treats in 20–30 minutes.
Day 1–3
Initial swelling
Swelling is expected, often asymmetrical at first. Avoid exercise, alcohol and heat for 24 hours. Ice helps.
Week 1
Shape settles
Swelling resolves and the true shape emerges. Lips feel natural and hydrated; definition becomes visible.
Week 2
Review & refine
Your review appointment. Any fine refinement is made to ensure you're happy with the final, settled result.

Aftercare & Downtime
The first 48 hours
Swelling is expected — often asymmetrical at first — and settles within a few days. For 24 hours avoid exercise, alcohol and heat; for 48 hours avoid kissing or any pressure on the lips. Sleeping elevated for the first night helps, and ice wrapped in a cloth can ease swelling.
